our story

Having spent the last 25 years in the construction industry building timber structures for homes, I wanted to begin to use my skills to work with wood in a more thoughtful and intricate manner. Growing up on a farm surrounded by woodland in South Wiltshire, I chopped and whittled wood as a hobby from a young age. This instilled in me an appreciation and understanding that timber has so much more to offer than purely function. Here at lannock studio, I carefully select unique timber with distinctive qualities, and create furniture that expresses each pieces’ individual beauty.
